We highly recommend Sibyl Forsberg as a caretaker for anyone’s pets. We’ve known Sibyl for 13 years, and it’s obvious to anyone who knows her that dogs are a big part of her life. She consistently demonstrates compassion, love, and dedication when caring for animals. Sibyl cared for our late dog during his early years when we lived in Los Angeles, and she was fantastic. Our dog lit up with excitement every time Sibyl came around. He absolutely adored her. They had such a special bond that we kept in touch with Sibyl after we moved, and she even reached out when our late dog, Diego, passed. In addition, she’s in-tune with the healthcare needs of pets and communicates concerns. For instance, one time she identified a tick that we completely overlooked, and there were times when she communicated with us if our dog had gastrointestinal symptoms like vomitng and diarrhea. My husband and I now live in San Francisco and were delighted to learn that Sibyl has moved to the Bay Area. We will certainly use her pet sitting service for our new puppy when we travel. It’s just comforting to have someone we trust who is good with animals looking after our little guy.

Sibyl started caring for our dog, Nora, when she was just a wild, untrained, months old puppy. During their seven years together, we trusted Sibyl implicitly with both our beloved girl and our home. We relied on her for it all – from daily walks and trips to the park, to care and feeding when we were out of town. Nora was a tricky dog – neurotic, over cautious, and sometimes aggressive with other dogs. But because of Sibyl's extensive knowledge, experience, and passion for animals, Nora was quickly trained and socialized. I truly believe that it's partly because of their special connection that she evolved into the wonderful dog she is today. Sibyl has a calm, loving nature that dogs respond to instantly – it's a true gift. I am so thankful that she was in our dog's life from such an early age, and I would recommend her services without hesitation.

Sibyl lived 3 doors down from me during the years I took care of the love of my life, a Shepherd/Lab mix named Blake. For many of the 13 years I had Blake, I required a dog walker and Sibyl was exactly what Blake and I both needed. From the first interview with her at my apartment, I noticed how her calm energy relaxed Blake who was normally nervous around people. I feel Blake was letting me know that he recognized Sibyl as a caring and patient human, as did I during that meeting. Sibyl always left a note after every visit and walk that I could read when I got home from work. She logged the snacks he ate, gave him fresh water, and sometimes noted potential health issues such as his scratching more or protecting a paw. The best part was being able to trust her so completely with Blake and to know that he trusted her as well. Should I ever need a dog walker for a future pet, I will hold them to very high standards based on those Sibyl set!

I have known Sibyl Forsberg for close to 25 years and was lucky enough to have her as my dog walker for over 10 of those years. I had 2 or 3 boxers at a time and she was the only person that I trusted to care for them. She was always reliable, trustworthy, and very caring. Boxers are high energy dogs and she was able to walk them even though 2 of them were extremely strong and not dog friendly. Not the easiest dogs to walk, especially in a neighborhood full of other dogs. Sometimes my work hours were unpredictable so there were many times that I would call and ask Sibyl to go back and walk them again and feed them dinner so that they wouldn't have to wait for me. My dogs (and cats) were always happy to see her and felt comfortable in her care. There were also times the dogs had surgeries and Sibyl would administer medication and check their incisions/bandages. I'm sad that she moved away but happy for all the lucky people and dogs up north that will get to meet her!

Sibyl was our pet sitter when we lived in West Hollywood, CA. We had 3 cats and traveled for the holidays. Sibyl was always very friendly, reliable and very caring. She always left us detailed notes about how the cats were doing while we were gone. Our cats were always very calm upon our return which assured us that Sibyl was giving them love, stimulation and care while we were gone. Sibyl is a wonderful person who truly loves animals and I wish she still lived in SoCal so she could continue to pet sit for us!! She is a gem and your pets will be so happy to have her taking care of them while you are away.

Sibyl is one of the most gifted people I know when it comes to dogs. She’s a natural, but goes above and beyond what one might expect from her… be it human or canine. Her heart is huge and absolutely ALL IN with everything she does. I have learned a great deal from watching her interact with and care for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. She treats them like her own and I wouldn’t think twice about leaving my little herd in her care!

I highly recommend Sibyl for her exceptional talent and compassion with animals, particularly dogs. During our time at the shelter, Sibyl's dedication and care made a significant difference in the lives of the shelter dogs. Her genuine love and understanding of their needs created a nurturing environment where they thrived. Sibyl's commitment to providing the best possible care for these animals truly sets her apart, and I have no doubt she will continue to make a positive impact wherever she goes.

For two years, Sibyl was an extraordinary companion to my dog, Layla. From the first day, it was evident that Sibyl doesn’t just walk dogs; she cares for them as if they are her own. Layla’s excitement every time Sibyl arrived was a testament to their special bond. Layla wasn’t just taken for walks; she was given adventures, affection, and attention in heaps. I trusted Sibyl with the keys to my house and she could come in the middle of the day to walk Layla. Sibyl also took care of my cat Olly, during my short trips out of town. Her versatility and dedication in handling both dogs and cats are commendable. Her commitment goes beyond mere duty; she ensures they are happy, healthy, and loved. I wholeheartedly trust Sibyl’s instincts and her unfailing kindness. Her professionalism, combined with a genuine love for animals, makes her a standout. I would recommend her services without hesitation to anyone looking for more than just a pet care provider but a true friend to their pets. Sibyl is truly one in a million!

Sibyl took care of my Labrador Retriever, Buddy. It's hard to describe the gratitude I feel for the love and care Sibyl showed to my Buddy. I never would have expected someone whom I paid to take care of my dog to actually bond with and get my sweet Buddy’s character and personality the way Sibyl did. She is truly extraordinary in her natural talent with and intuitive understanding of canines. Sibyl’s definitely a rare human being in that regard. She let me know everyday how he behaved and interacted with other dogs and people they'd meet at the dog park, or for walks in my neighborhood where she would take Buddy. She’d also update me if there was something she’d notice (like his poops were a little runny that day) or something to keep an eye on. It always gave me a great feeling to know that Buddy was getting that much love and attention paid to his well-being while he was in Sibyl's care. Sometimes it seemed as though Sibyl loved and cared about Buddy as much as her own dogs. And when Buddy passed at 13, I think Sibyl was almost as devastated as I was. Sibyl is a true professional in what she does, with a degree of dedication, attention to detail and a solid work ethic that are truly impressive -rarely found in people who provide a service. Though I haven't been able to get another dog since I lost Buddy, I've stayed in contact with Sibyl over the years. When I learned that she moved to the Bay Area and started her own canine-care business, I wanted others to know how amazing she is.
